I love winding roads. Not driving them – I can’t drive yet and I’d probably end up in the ditch – but taking photos of them. Here are a few shots I took while my mom and I brought my grandma to a doctor’s appointment:
“Road unsafe when under water.” Uh. Yeah, no kidding. π
I think this one is my favorite; I love the S shape the road makes.
Very nice!

Winding roads are fun to drive! After 12 days of driving in the mountains in Italy, I already miss them.

π Haha, they scare me; perhaps once I try to drive them it won’t look daunting. XD It’s so awesome that you were able to drive in the mountains in Italy! π

I love driving on winding roads. I’ve got quite a few here in Montgomery Township, New Jersey.

π That’s great! I probably wouldn’t be so nervous driving a winding road if I got used to it, haha. We have a lot here in Arkansas as well. π

Very pretty country where you live, Grace! I love winding roads too, but not too “squiggly!” π

Thanks – it is! π That road is close to my grandma. I really like it. It does get a bit “squiggly” at times though! XD

Haha…”squiggly” is a great way to describe a winding road! That why I say you need a good feel for the car you are driving. You don’t want to squiggle off the road!

I like “squiggly” too! (You said it first, didn’t you?) Yes, indeed! I definitely don’t want to squiggle off the road for sure!

I said squiggly first? Funny, I thought that was a “Grace-ism!”…Lol. I don’t remember using the word before I saw it in one of your posts. I probably did and just don’t remember it…

I thought you did in the comment before mine; that would make it a “Steve-ism!” π

Haha…I’ve been known for a couple of “Steve-ism’s” in my time. I’ve tried to come up with a “smart” or “reflective” statement at times, but I guess I’m not deep enough for them to just roll off my tongue… π
