For days, this young opossum came into my chicken’s run and ate the leftover feed. He’s so cute, and he didn’t mind me getting up close.
Isn’t he something? β€
His tail looks kind of like a corn cob.
He’s a good model. And look at those little hands!!
He thought he could hide from me, but I still found him on this day. XD
If any of you have Facebook, here is a video of the little guy. π …and yeah, I’m petting him with a pole. π€·ββοΈ I was trying to get him to leave the chicken run, but he seemed to actually LIKE being petted. π€¦ββοΈ
Hi Grace, I haven’t seen you for a long time. How are you? Are you snow bounded? The opossum is really cute.

Hi Miriam! I’m mostly well, just been very busy. π Hoping to catch up on here soon! I miss everyone.
Yes, we are. We have 10 inches of snow right now. π

I can’t imagine having 10 inches of snow. Did you lose power and water at any point? π

No, surprisingly. We didn’t lose power or water. It was a LOT of snow. My chickens and cats took one look at it and decided they wanted no part in playing in it. π

Haha, they are wise to choose dry and warm places. π Good to hear the power and water problems didn’t affect you. π

They are. π I did get one of my roosters out in the snow long enough to get photos. β€

Yes, I believe the snow was gone by this point in March. So sorry to just now be getting to your comment. I’ve been really busy!

I thought you must be busy, Grace. It’s nice to see your closeup profile. Write more update about how you’re doing, when you have time. π

Oh yes, have I ever been. π
I will. β€ I'm slowly writing it up. In the meantime, I'll probably be sharing some photos, and catching up with other bloggers. π
