Please, kind sir wearing the boots, donโ€™t eat me! I can save you time by telling you that I do not taste good, you see.

I can promise you that I am too lean – to be packed and eaten as a sardine!

Now that you understand, throw me back, for Iโ€™m too small; out of me you would not get much meat at all!

A Light Unto My Path

He is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path, so that I may see where the road that He hath

Picked out for me to travel is so I donโ€™t stray, like the lost sheep that wandered away.

My soul is always in the hands of my loving Lord, and I will always try to stay true to His Word!

Inspired by Psalm 119, verses:

105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
and
109: My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

Donโ€™t build your house on sand, or it will tumble.

Donโ€™t build your house on just land, or it will crumble.

Be wise, build your home – on the steadfast Cornerstone!

This was inspired by:

Matthew 7:24 – 27: “…Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it…”

Ephesians 2:20 – 22: “…And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”

Quality Meats At Low Cost?

I pass by and see a brightly lit neon sign, advertising quality meats so fine.

I think of the creatures whose lives were lost, to produce these quality meats at a low cost,

But the cost was high. I lose my appetite, and decide I shall to go vegan tonight.

*I’m actually not a vegan, but I have considered it. I love animals and the thought of where meat comes from does make me sad. When it comes to eating meat, I usually stick to birds and fish, but still…

I Pray For My Safety And Sanity

I have never flown in a plane before, itโ€™s plain to see – Iโ€™d rather be on dry land; I pray for my safety and sanity.

I envision Him protecting me under His wings – and I am grateful for the peace and comfort He brings.

I look out the window to see a three-leaf clover that reminds me of the Trinity – what a sign of His love that He never left me to my fears, but stayed with me!
