My August 2018 In Photos

Welcome to another edition of My Month In Photos Life Update! πŸ™‚ Here is my month of August in photos:

How on earth are you supposed to obey this sign?! Are we supposed to yield to people walking out of the sky – and do it upside down? o_O

I really liked these flowers outside my grandma’s doctor’s building. πŸ™‚

My feet. XD This was supposed to be a bit of an artistic shot.

When taking my grandma grocery shopping after the doctor appointment, we saw this sign. If you look closely, you can also see me in this photo… XD

Mushroom! πŸ˜€

Boy did I have a surprise the next day. This is the same mushroom as above.

Almost missed this moth – he looks like a leaf!

I found this snake in the mud hole one day. I hope he wasn’t eating the tadpoles for breakfast…

Looked out the window of my grandma’s doctor’s building, and saw this picnic table on the roof of the next building. Scary place to have a picnic…

This was also inside the doctor’s building. Kind of random and fun. XD

When we got back to my grandma’s, I visited the lake. And while taking a walk, it started to rain. XD

Stopped on my way back inside to photograph a flower. XD

And then stopped on my way back inside to get a photo of the storm clouds. XD

Some birds made a nest in one of my mom’s hanging baskets. I meant to get more photos as they grew, but I didn’t and then they flew away. πŸ™‚

More mushrooms! We got quite a bit of rain at one point in August, and mushrooms were everywhere.

My uncle and mom took my grandma out to eat for her birthday. These signs were hanging in there. Kind of random to have these hanging together like that, but I approve. XD

Another mushroom! It rains, we get mushrooms! XD

Pink sky! πŸ˜€

You know it’s going to be an interesting day when you go out to check the mail and almost step on Blake. This is a far off shot of the ground where Blake was. Don’t see him? Neither did I. XD Here is a close up:

Yes. Blake is a Black Rat Snake. Fairly large one in fact, haha.

Pink flowers at my great aunt’s house! Wish I knew what they were; I’d like to have some of these…

Mushrooms at sunset. πŸ™‚

When I went to check my squash plants, I got this treat – watching a bee pollinate the flowers. πŸ˜€

Eggplant bloom. πŸ˜€ I really like them.

I put some food my cats didn’t eat out in the woods in case someone else wanted it. I expected feral cats and opossums. But when I checked back that night, I found raccoons instead. o_O

Blue wildflowers at my grandmas! πŸ˜€ I love this shade of blue.

Lots of mushrooms. I know, I’m showing a lot of mushrooms. These weren’t even the half of them. My dad can attest to this fact – he sat through all the photos when backing them up on his computer and saw every mushroom shot I took. XD

My mom gets a special mention – she made pickles! They are SOOOO GOOD. ❀

I pass by and see a brightly lit neon sign, advertising quality meats so fine.

I think of the creatures whose lives were lost, to produce these quality meats at a low cost,

But the cost was high. I lose my appetite, and decide I shall to go vegan tonight.

*I’m actually not a vegan, but I have considered it. I love animals and the thought of where meat comes from does make me sad. When it comes to eating meat, I usually stick to birds and fish, but still…
