A Lovely March Morning

Hello! Would you like to come with me while reminiscing on a walk I took in March? ๐Ÿ™‚ If so, keep reading!

It all started when I opened the door to see this gorgeous animal grazing in the woods.

And then another showed up!

Then I walked to the clearing so I could watch the sunrise.

The clouds were really odd that morning.

I couldn’t help but get a lot of photos of them!

The horizon looked as if it was on fire.

After the sun rose, I went in search of wildlife and flowers.

I found some! Obviously.

I don’t know what these are, but they were growing on what appeared to be a small tree.

I really like them, whatever they are. ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t know what these are either, but they were growing on trees. ๐Ÿ˜€

More daffodils! (I posted a bunch in February, hence the “more.”)

Different color ones too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Three different colors!

Sun filtering through the petals. โค

A baby cardinal! The parents were around protecting the little guy.

These were on a tree in the woods. I wonder if it is an apple. It came out before the dogwood did so it wasn’t that.

And this concludes my walk on this lovely March morning. ๐Ÿ˜€ Thanks for joining me. ๐Ÿ™‚

My February 2019 In Photos

This little dog stayed at my grandma’s for a short time. If you read January’s post, you probably saw Blackie. Someone abandoned her at my grandma’s, and she took her in. This little dog obviously belonged to someone, unlike Blackie. She came around a lot for a couple of weeks and then left. He was adorable! โค

Mom’s daffodils started blooming and I had too much fun photographing them.

She has different colors! ๐Ÿ˜€

Side view. Some not even opened yet. ๐Ÿ™‚

She has SO MANY. ๐Ÿ˜€

Close up of the inside of the flower!

Mom made a giant heart sugar cookie for Valentine’s day. It was amazing. ๐Ÿ˜€

Mom’s peach tree bloomed! ๐Ÿ˜€ It’s now covered in peaches.

My grandma’s lake at dusk. ๐Ÿ˜€

Looking up into the trees around our house. ๐Ÿ™‚

Laptop batteries! The one on top is my old one. The one on the bottom is the new one, which is now in the laptop I’m using to type this post. ๐Ÿ™‚ My old one didn’t hold a charge anymore, so my parents bought me this one. It lasts anywhere between 3 and 6 hours on a charge, depending on what I’m doing when using it. It’s amazing, I can go online anywhere without a cord now. ๐Ÿ˜€

First Day Of Spring – March 20th, 2018

Let’s celebrate the first day of Spring by marveling at the beauty of God’s creation! Especially the flowers…

Easter Lillies

My mom has these beautiful flowers planted all over our yard. And the fun thing is – different batches of flowers have different colors. The above one, if I remember correctly, was planted around a tree near our driveway.

This one was in the flower bed of my dad’s shop.

These were in the flower bed in frontย of our house.

These were outside the flower bed at my mom’s gazebo.

Peach Blossoms

This one is also known as a selfie fail. ๐Ÿ˜‚ย I had the camera on a tripod and put the camera on timerย mode. I ended up having to get on a step-stool to get a proper selfie. Andย then once I was up there, I saw the bees…

If you look closely,ย you can see a bee in the center of this photo. Or the backside of one,ย anyway.

Pear Blossoms

Tulips

I found this beauty at Walmart for $1. Someone messed up and put three tulip bulbs in one pot; it was supposed to be $1 for one tulip. So I guess I got each tulip for 33.333333 cents? Haha. And each tulip is at a different stage of blooming. This is the first one. I expect the next two to bloom at the end of the month or in early April. I hope we have more time the next time we go back to Walmart because I plan to look and see if they made more mistakes… ๐Ÿ˜…

I love the texture of the petals.

Especially with the sunlight filtering through them.

And the inside is really awesome too.

Wildflowers

You’ve probably noticed that I have a fondness for wildflowers. So of course, I had to get photos of them too. ๐Ÿ™‚

We have a few trees in our woods growing wild that have some of the most beautiful pink blossoms!

I don’t know what they are, but I really like them.

Wild violets!

I didn’t see the plant that the flower came from, but we have been getting high winds, so it could have blown in from anywhere. I’ve seen the vines that have these kinds of flowers, but the flowers on those aren’t opened yet.

This is also growing wild. At first, I thought it might be a dogwood, but no other dogwoods are blooming. The blooms remind me of my mom’s apple tree. I would compare them, but it hasn’t bloomed yet. It didn’t bloomย last year either. We’re beginning toย think it’s dead… but if this is a new apple tree that nature planted, I can’t wait to see if it produces apples this year. ๐Ÿ™‚

Beautiful Blossoms

I love getting photos of blossoms. Here are a few I’ve taken; all of these are from this past spring except for the apple blossoms, which were from last spring:
