Six months ago, this photo happened! Amazing to think my Jackie started off so tiny. Now, getting so big!
And now to the update about Jackie…
I made a mistake. And it’s not the first time I’ve made this mistake, haha.
When responding to comments to last week’s post (when I made the post I still didn’t know, but by the time I got around to responding to comments, I did), I responded calling Jack, Jackie. I also called her Jackie above. I don’t know if anyone noticed the hints in the comments or above on this post, but maybe you see where I’m heading with this. 😅
Last Tuesday, Jackie started… calling for a mate. And males don’t do that. So… I think Jackie is a girl, not a boy, haha. Therefore, her name will be Jacqueline, and Jackie for short. (We’ll probably bring her to a vet sometime in the near future to find out for sure and get her fixed.)
This also explains why Jackie and Angel don’t like each other at all. Jackie is aggressive toward Angel. Jackie sees Angel as another female who is a threat. And Angel is likewise.
Yeah that’s what I saw through the screen when Jackie saw Angel. 😅 We put up a screen door in hopes they will get used to each other. So far it hasn’t worked sadly.
We weren’t sure at first but we thought it was settled and we had a boy. We were going to bring her to a vet and have them tell us, but we never did. We spent six months calling her a him. It’s going to take some time to get used to calling her a she instead of a he. 😂
But whatever the case, of course, I love her. ❤

He is officially six months old now! I found him October 24th of last year. ❤ Boy, they grow up fast. You may be seeing more of him than usual this month as I go through photos and celebrate. 🙂
Jack last month. ❤
Missing you with
A broken heart
My sweet girl
Always remember that I love you
Knowing you has been a pleasure
I still remember
The day we met eleven years ago
Today and forever you will be in my thoughts
You will not be forgotten.
(Today’s scheduled post has been moved to Monday.) I’ve known that this day was coming since last summer, but I didn’t expect it to be so soon. The vet told me after removing six tumors that it was most likely cancer and that it had spread. For the past few weeks, I could tell that my darling Mama Kitty wasn’t feeling as well and that she was weaker. Last night, she passed away peacefully in her sleep.
For those of you who have been keeping up with life updates, this is the third beloved cat that I’ve lost this year. (Rabbit and Radar died in January.) I realize that my little babies are getting older and I knew that I’d most likely outlive my precious pets, but I didn’t expect to lose three in such a short time.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4)
God is such a comforter during times like these! I don’t know what I’d do without Him.
I don’t know how active I’ll be on WordPress this weekend, but you’ll have a new post on Monday. Love you guys! ❤
