Marching In

I stare in wonder
As January melts away
The New year is no longer new
Where oh where did all that time go?

I gaze dumbfounded
As February sends greetings
Seems like January had just arrived

The winter snows give way to
Red hearts and love stories to warm the soul

And then February says goodbye, and the green clovers march in.

Hey everyone! I hopeย that you’ve had a great March so far! ๐Ÿ˜€

I’m going to be taking a short blogging break this weekendย – so I’ll see y’allย again on Monday! โค Have a great weekend!

Mother’s Day Roses

My dad told my mom to pick out something that she liked for Mothers Day last week. Here is one of the things she picked out:

Aren’t they beautiful? ๐Ÿ˜ I love the white on the petals; it compliments the red so well. It reminds me of a candy cane.

I think this one is my favorite shot. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve never seen roses like these before. And these aren’t just roses – it’s a miniature rose bush! So hopefully we can enjoy these beautiful flowers for years to come. ๐Ÿ™‚

I had so much fun taking photos of them, as you can see. XD They are so pretty, I couldn’t help but get some shots of them!

Red Lilies

As Aspiring Thoughts requested, here is a photo of my red lilies that bloomed this past summer for the first time; which was a pleasant surprise because I thought they died last year. XD

Lilies remind me of Song of Songs, chapter 2 verse 1 & 2: I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.ย As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. ๐Ÿ™‚
