A field once filled daily with kids kicking a ball into a goal, now as empty as a body without a soul

No ball, no children, just two poles and a net stand, as a reminder of the fun that once occurred on this land

Will they return here or will this place sink into the depths of history’s embrace?

On The Catwalk

A cat photo prompt! How fanCATstically PUUURRRRRfect. 😍 (I couldn’t resist making some cat puns in this post. πŸ˜‚)

The cat, seeking adventure, went on a journey to discover more about herself; she took a risk and turned a narrow beam into a catwalk in the process.

Maintaining equilibrium – there is a thin line between bravely walking with poise and dignity, and foolishly plunging into the watery depths below and losing one of nine lives.

Will the feline be correct in thinking this balancing act is achievable or will the little guy end up literally and figuratively all wet?

There are plenty of fish in the sea, but I guess one could say that there are plenty of Legos in the pile…

From different places, all walks of life and amounts of faith; one can’t know another without walking a mile

In their shoes. God made humans different for a reason – to make living life interesting and worthwhile!

I’m on the side of the road with a flat tire; I was told that the tow truck would come soon, the liar.

I look up and see gray clouds roll past; I am in awe of reflecting reds that will not last.

As blue changes to crimson in the sky; darkness is imminent as the sun says goodbye.

Please, kind sir wearing the boots, don’t eat me! I can save you time by telling you that I do not taste good, you see.

I can promise you that I am too lean – to be packed and eaten as a sardine!

Now that you understand, throw me back, for I’m too small; out of me you would not get much meat at all!

A Light Unto My Path

He is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path, so that I may see where the road that He hath

Picked out for me to travel is so I don’t stray, like the lost sheep that wandered away.

My soul is always in the hands of my loving Lord, and I will always try to stay true to His Word!

Inspired by Psalm 119, verses:

105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
and
109: My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
