Super Wolf Blood Moon 2019

Last night’s / early this morning’s Super Wolf Blood moon was pretty amazing here in Arkansas. We got a clear view, no clouds. These are some shots I took from the eclipse beginning to the blood moon to the end:

Eclipse Starts

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? Psalm 8:3-4

Eclipse Almost In Totality

O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made.
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed… (How Great Thou Art – this is a link to my favorite version)

Turning Red

To Him who made great lights, for His mercy endures forever— the sun to rule by day,
For His mercy endures forever; the moon and stars to rule by night, for His mercy endures forever. Psa 136:7-9

Nearly All Red

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. Joel 2:31

Blood Moon – this was the best shot I took. If you zoom in, you can also see a few stars.

Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you stars of light! Psalm 148:3

Exiting totality

God of wonders, beyond our galaxy, You are holy, holy
The universe declares Your majesty, You are holy, holy (God Of Wonders – this is a link to my favorite version)

Eclipse Almost Over

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” (Luke 21:33)

All photos were taken with a Sony SX530 HS with a 50X zoom. Thanks, mom and dad, for buying me this wonderful gift for my birthday two years ago – I’m enjoying it so much! ❤

  2. The quality of these pictures is fantastic!!! Thank you so much for sharing them. They’re beautiful. I especially like the ones where the moon is just turning red and before the full eclipse. The heavens do declare the glory of God! 💜

  3. Here in NE Ohio it was so overcast there was no hope of seeing this event. Thank you Grace for the impressive photos and the encouragement of the Word. With Thanks, and blessings to you, Denny The Word made it better than seeing it live!
