My September 2018 In Photos

Welcome to another edition of My Month In Photos life update! πŸ˜€ Here is my September in photos…

A day at my grandmas – it was a beautiful day. πŸ™‚

I saw a grasshopper that day and it was fun to try to get a photo. Not many came out because the wind blew the grass around, which caused him to blur.

I like strange and unique trees and limbs and found this one when walking to her lake.

I found this snake in the woods near our house. πŸ˜„

Blake! (Black rat snake.) He seems to hang around our yard a lot. And he is very patient with me. πŸ˜†

These are some of the best photos I got of him this time.

He posed for me. 😁

In this last one, I was trying to show how long he is because the others are headshots. He’s long!

Praying mantis! He was on top of my mom’s car when we were trying to leave one day, so I moved him to a stick and got photos while her car warmed up.

I visited Narnia. It’s a lot more… modern than I thought it would be. πŸ€ͺ

Mushroom!! 😁

Made enchiladas (recipe by T.R. – click here to view) and they were so easy and good! I added extra sauce and cheese because I like extra sauce and cheese. πŸ˜‹

Purple wildflowers! Not quite ready to open yet. They close at night and it was nearing dusk when I took this.

Wild berries! πŸ˜„ Probably poison…

Hot peppers!! 😁

My newest lemon tree had a friend for a day. Then it died. Whatever kind of mushroom this is, they are there one day and dead the next. Crazy.

Finally got a photo of the purple wildflowers above with the petals open. πŸ˜€

Puffy clouds! 😁 I like how the sun was shining on them.

A different kind of grasshopper. Or something. The one above is green and this is brown. So it may not be a grasshopper at all. But it hops… 🀣

Autumn is coming…

I met a snail! And it was friendly. πŸ™‚

Ripe tomatoes! 😍

My newest sweet potato plants – and the frog guarding them. 🀣

Went outside in the middle of the night and took this. πŸ˜€ I didn’t expect it to be this clear.

Went out again in the morning and took this. Not as clear as it was at night but it still came out.

Pine cones! 😁 When they start falling, I’m going to gather some and paint them. Then it will start to feel like Christmas is coming…

  1. Such a full and lively September!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed the recipe!!! It’s always nice to play around and adjust recipes to our tastes. I’m the same! πŸ™‚ And now people will know the recipe is good, haha! A second opinion is always good! That snail ❀

And xD I was cracking up at the Narnia comment!

    • Aww, thanks! ❀ And I'm glad you've enjoyed seeing Blake! πŸ˜€

Now I just have to decide what to do with them… I'm thinking about seeing if my om can help me can them. πŸ™‚

Thank you, it was – it was also hard and busy, but it was good anyway. I had several big surprises at the end of it, which I hope to post about on Monday. (Which will be the October In Photos post.) πŸ™‚

      • You’re welcome, Grace! Haha! Of course! πŸ˜„

        I hope you decide soon.

Although hard and busy, I am happy that October was a great month for you and I look forward to seeing the surprises you speak of! πŸ’™

We're canning them. πŸ™‚ (I'm still getting some in November because the plants are in pots and I brought them inside to avoid the frost. XD)

I'm still working on the post – I have a lot of photos to upload. And some were from a birthday present my uncle got me and it took me a while to figure out how to use it. XD

NaNoWriMo is making me even busier. (And I'm 4K words behind schedule… :O) This time, it will be next Monday. I'm going to schedule it when it's done. πŸ™‚ I wish that I could count the post for NaNo. If each photo is worth a thousand words, I'd have enough words for a whole series of books! XD

          • Ooh, nice! πŸ˜„

Don’t worry, I’ll be here whenever you get the post up. I also have some posts to write and schedule, but lately, I am just too tired to get them done so I postpone them until next year God’s willing.

All the best with NaNo! I’ve put that behind me for the moment. Ooh, most certainly! Take care, Grace. πŸ’™πŸ¦‹

  3. Hi Grace, are you doing NanoWriMo this year? I’m not because I just published my poetry book and have to launch and get it going. If you have time, I would like you to take a look at it. It’s my poetic memoir and write about my gratitude to God through hard times.
If you don’t mind to pay $0.99 for Kindle, I even would like you to write a review. I saw that you followed me on Goodreads.
Are you ready to publish? If you are, I could help you to publish. I did everything by myself. ❀ πŸ™‚
