Snow!

WE HAVE SNOW. Haha. We rarely get snow, so this is exciting for me. If only it will get warm enough to not be powder. I want to make a snowman! Or snow-something. I made a snow-chicken one year. I even made it a nest. So anything is possible… 😆

This is a collection of photos I took yesterday and early this morning.

This is the frost frozen on the window. It’s so pretty, haha.

Snow! And Jay wanting breakfast, haha. He was relentless. He wouldn’t let me take photos of the driveway yesterday until he had breakfast. XD

Pawprints.

Our driveway.

It’s easy to tell where all Jay has been. XD

Tire tracks.

Here is the temperature at 8:00 AM. Brrrrrrrr. **shivers** I’m not used to this! Cold yes, but not this cold. It rarely gets below 20. This is insane. I can’t stay outside more than five minutes without my fingers and toes going numb. **sigh** How am I supposed to play in the snow?! Patience. This is teaching me patience. 😂

Hope you all are having a beautiful day!💜

  1. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos. It’s plenty cold here too, but not the coldest day we’ve seen in our neck of the woods. We even got a light dusting of snow here in West Florida. I was up early enough to see it, but had someplace to go and no time to take pictures.

  2. I too have snow outside, and I find it to be so comforting. It is that silent blanket that covers everything, nothing escapes its touch. Beautiful in its pristine condition, and then we walk, slip, drive and leave all sorts of marks upon it. I love snow, but then after a couple of days I want it to be gone. Things to do, places to go, and I don’t want to be sliding around. Praise God that He gives us the blessing of that blanket every once in a while. Have fun in it and praise His name for it. Blessings as we shiver together!

    • That’s great! 😀

Amen! I love the way you worded that. Poor snow, getting abused like that.

I want it to stick around until I get to make a snow-something and then it may go.

Yes, don’t want to slide around on it for sure!

      Amen, praise Him!

Blessings to you too! Stay warm! 🙂

  3. We rarely get any snow either but we got a ton( ton = a few inches hahaha) right after the first of the year, and today they are calling for a winter storm. They say we could get 2 to 4 inches! Burrrrr is right. I am so use to it barely getting in the 20’s and we have seen single digits, including some nights to -1 degrees with the wind chill. But looking at your pictures, I forget and think, awwwww it’s so pretty, then reality snaps me back to what are you thinking, its’ cold!! hahaha :):):)

  4. Beautiful scenery! I love how snow changes the story and gives us a whole new view point. We enjoyed a rare Christmas day snow in the Seattle area … it was wonderful. Hope you find creative ways to enjoy those ridiculous low temps. Stay warm!
