Oh man, there are so many good ones! I think I first heard Michael W Smith sing it, but I love the Clay Aiken version, too. There was one duo that sang it, a man and woman, that was stellar but I can’t recall who they were. It came out not long after my baby boy, Luke, died. All I could picture was the times I looked into his eyes, kissed his face and held him, having no idea he would be seeing God so soon. It really made feel for Mary, you know? I still cry every time I hear it. Dec 21 was the anniversary of my son’s “going home” so hearing this song was especially meaningful to me.

Oh, I had no idea that they sang it too! I’ll definitely look for those. 🙂 Also, I recently heard Pentatonix sing it and they were incredible too.
I’m sorry that you lost him. **hugs** ❤ I can't even imagine the heartbreak you must feel.
