It’s week 25 of 100 Word Wednesday, and here I am posting at the last minute again! π If you’d like to join in the fun, just click the link! π
Lovely image, BikurGirl! π
I see the boats aplenty
Creating surface tension
On the waterβs shiny top layer
Waiting to be ridden
On the open seas
Freedom!
Look at it how Iβd see
With underwater vision
From my surreptitious lair
Humans are forbidden
From viewing these
Kingdoms!
Turn it upside down,
Yes, spin it around…
Tell me, what do you see?
The sky isnβt the limit,
Itβs the bottom of the sea;
And the air below it!
I put on my special bangle
And one limit fades away;
Spin the world to another angle.
Now I have feet for the day!
Beautiful poem! It went so well with the picture βΊοΈπ

No, don’t spin the world around – my motion sickness would not – let me have feet for the day. Lol Liked your poem and the photo.

I’m so happy you enjoyed the image! I am not great about uploading my ‘real’ camera images, so the images i post to Instagram {where I posted this one!} are simply from my iPhone! I’m shocked at the quality of the images, though not all turn out that wonderfully. The lighting makes such a difference — and in Seattle, outside of July 4 – September 20, the skies are mainly overcast which cuts glare and gives lovely reflections in the many waters surrounding the city. You poetry is so moving and I’m thankful to have you in our writing community β€

I’m impressed with the quality of iPhone photos too! π
Oh wow, Seattle is much different than Arkansas – we get a lot of sun! How lovely that the overcast cuts glare for such amazing photos! π
Aww, thank you. π β€ I’m glad to be here.

You are so kind! Yes — the overcast days make for some beautiful images; especially during the ‘rainy’ season (the 9 months that isn’t summer!). I’ve driven through Arkansas, but haven’t explored. There are actually some cool parks I’d love to go to when I go! β€

Wow, 9 months of rain is a lot, but make beautiful photos! π
I haven’t visited as many places as I would like yet, but it would be nice to! I’ve heard wonderful things about Eureka Springs…
π I’d love to go to the Ozarks in the fall. I’m sure the fall colors would be amazing! β€

Fun tripsπ {& the nine months of ‘rain’ is really just misting sprinkles for the most part, though we did have a downpour in March that I posted on IG!}

Oh, that sounds really nice. π Haha, downpours are fun to be caught in. π
