This is in response to the Sometimes Stellar Storyteller Six Word Story Challenge – Mercy, but I’m too late to be included in the challenge this week. Therefore, I’m posting this just for the fun of it! 😁 I look forward to the next challenge this Saturday. 🙂

If I may ask, does the story have to do with God’s mercy? 🙂

Yes, she was premature and lived, so it’s God’s mercy!

Yes, she was born when we went to Salem, Oregon to spend Christmas with the parents of my ex. I was in labor. Salem hospital didn’t have the care for premature babies, I was taken to Portland hospital by ambulance for one hour drive. She was born on 26th. Since she had to be in NICU longer than 6 weeks, I came back to LA to go back to work. Later she was flown town to LA by a medical jet with a medical team. She stayed in Kaiser until she was about 5 pounds before she could come home. She stayed in the hospital for 9 weeks all together. I called her million dollar baby!
