It’s week twenty-one of 100 Word Wednesday, and here is the photo and my response. 🙂 If you’d like to join in, just click the link! 😉
Solitude
On my secluded isle.
Away from the hustle,
Away from the bustle,
Of human’s wiles,
Peace exudes.
Loneliness,
In my isolated shelter.
Alone with my thoughts,
Companionship is sought,
But I’m protected here.
Friends I miss…
Stranded,
On my clandestine island.
First, I wanted some space,
Now need to leave this place,
But nobody understands
What landed…
Depression,
Attacks my private refuge,
Convincing me to go under,
To leave my heart asunder.
Blinded to possible rescue –
Is there no win?
In the east,
Son shines on the haven.
I’ll never again be marooned, for
Shadows once blocked the harbor;
But the Light foils dark plans –
Freeing me from the beast.
Oh my what powerful message/image you have created here! I love it :):)

I love the imagery – descriptiveness, leading up to the triumphant end where the light vanquishes the darkness. Lovely as always, dear! Thank you for joining us again this week ❤
