I realize I’m quite late with this – I meant to post this last week – however, I’d like to share it with you all anyway, even though I am waaaaay too late to be included in the week sixty-three of Three Line Tales round-up. XD
If you had a hundred sheep to tend to – and one was nowhere to be found,
What would you do? Leave the ninety-nine to bring the lost homeward bound?
Call everyone and let’s celebrate, for the lost sheep has returned safe and sound!
**Inspired by:
Luke 15:4 – 6: “What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.”
Story beautifully retold with fine words!

An important thing to know about our Lord. He will seek the lost sheep…He’s done it with me! What a loving Father we have…

Well good. I hope I didn’t give you too much at once to look at and consider! If so, let me know that. We can make them shorter and more specific emails, Grace…

Aww, are those lambs numbered?

😲 Oh my, it seems they are. Poor things; I wonder why? Or do I want to know…?

I thought it was really cool! It seemed really fitting to your poem that they are numbered. 😀 Being that they are both numbered with what looks like the same number, my guess is it’s just a way of identifying the owner, that way if they get lost or mixed with another owner’s lambs they’d be able to tell the difference. Similar to how they used to brand cows. They might just be in the run for winning the blue ribbon for best lamb show! 😀

It is. 😀 I didn’t realize it was a number; I just saw red. XD That’s neat. 😀 Oh yes, I agree! I know they would tie for cutest lamb! 😍
