It’s week sixty-two of Three Line Tales and here is the photo and my response. If you’d like to participate, just click the link! 😉
Don’t build your house on sand, or it will tumble.
Don’t build your house on just land, or it will crumble.
Be wise, build your home – on the steadfast Cornerstone!
This was inspired by:
Matthew 7:24 – 27: “…Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it…”
Ephesians 2:20 – 22: “…And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”
Very nice tale! Thank you for the scriptures!

Ooh! I love what you wrote, Grace. 🙂 And that picture prompt is so cool. There’s a Casting Crowns song where they talk about those Bible verses – it’s called “American Dream.” Have you heard of that one? I love it! ❤

Thank you! 🙂 ♥ Oh, yes, it really is! Sonya chose a great one.
Oh, I haven’t heard of it before! I can’t wait to listen to it. 😀 (My Internet at home can’t handle YouTube so I’ll have to wait until I hit a hotspot. XD )

You’re welcome! ❤ Yay, I hope you enjoy it! Man I can relate to that; for a long time, I couldn't watch YouTube at home, either! Our internet was so slow…

😀 I’m sure I will!
Oh man, haha. Frustrating, isn’t it?! Glad you don’t have that problem anymore. 🙂 We’re looking into getting something better. We’re using dial-up right now. It sometimes takes me 10-15 minutes just to load a blog. That gets old fast. I literally have time to go make a snack and come back sometimes. XD Today, I had time to make a cup of mocha, drink it, and read the last two chapters of a book before the Yahoo Image results loaded so I could pick an image for my post today. 😂 It was pretty sad.

Oh my goodness! I remember those days, haha. No one should have to go through the pains of dial-up internet! I hope and pray your family finds better internet connection for you. Also, Yahoo is a killer on any kind of internet service; it freezes my computer and phone, and we have a strong wifi connection! Have you heard of pixabay.com ? They have awesome, high-quality photos for anyone to use for free, and the website loads pretty fast. 🙂

Amen to that! It is such a pain. XD
Thank you! 🙂 ♥ Haha, the computer I’m using is also outdated. I’m still using Windows XP and a lot of websites reject it. However, we have a new computer with Windows 10 for when we get the upgrade. (And then I’ll have to learn how to use it all over again… 😂)
Ooohhhh. That’s good to know. I thought it was just me! Yes, I’ve heard of Pixabay – that’s what I used at the WiFi hotspot. I didn’t realize it loaded fast – I should use it at home too! Thanks for the advice! ♥

I did not know why you quoted Matt 7,,, as I read on I now see why. The Holy Spirit is exceedingly faster than the internet. My choosing to use sandy soil as an illustration to get an idea cross totally unknowing that you and all ready posting using Matt 7. Keep your wonderful humor and reality can be amazing too.

LOL! 😂 It is quite funny! When you stated that, “It sounds like the Holy Spirit had prepared you for the comment I left and it hit home,” you weren’t kidding! XD I actually thought you had read that post already and that’s what prompted you to use that line. 😂 Isn’t it amazing how the Holy Spirit works sometimes? He leaves me in awe. 🙂
Haha, yes, Matthew 7 was still fresh in my mind. XD Yes, I heard once that prayer is the greatest wireless connection. 😉
Thank you, you too! 🙂
