Spring Has Sprung!

๐ŸŒท Spring Has Sprung! ๐ŸŒบ

The flowers show God’s artistry,
As new growth and plants have begun,
To reach for the warm sun!
Ah, how I am amazed by Thee!

It’s also that time of year when new discoveries
Are common on my little walks through nature;
In this case, they are oddball shapes in trees.
And you know I had to take photos for sure!

This is in response to Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge – Spring or Wood. In this case, it will be Spring and Wood (in the form of trees) because I’m including both. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m starting off the gallery with my grandma’s hot magenta azaleas:

Meet my new pear tree that grew from a seed this Spring. I didn’t expect it to grow when I planted it, but it did.

If you saw the name of the photo, you probably think I made a typo, but here’s the story: I name everything. Wildlife that I see often and my plants that I keep around usually ends up with a name. This is a pear tree. I went blank. But my mom came up with it: Peary Mason. (The old book series written byย Erle Stanley Gardner and TV series starring Raymond Burr?) I really like that old TV show, and the name stuck. XD

  1. The pictures are beautiful. Yes, there are quite a few “oddball trees” around … just like there are oddball people around. I don’t think God wants us to be clones of each other. He went to so much trouble to create such a wide variety of things, I think He likes to see some oddballs in the mix! After all, He is the One who ultimately created them that way, whether by nature or people, all is under His watch! Blessings to you and thanks for your comments at The Ruminant Scribe.

      Yes, I agree! The “oddball” makes them unique, and He likes variety. ๐Ÿ™‚
