Looking Up Into The Golden Leafed Trees

In response to Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge: Looking Up At Things:

Here are two photos I took last fall looking up into the trees. The vines growing up the golden leafed trees in these two photos made them my favorites of the ones I took that day. After getting this perspective, I felt as if I were as small as a thimble. XD

    • Thanks! 🙂 ♥

That’s… poison… ivy?!! 😳 I definitely understand that; I hate the rash that stuff can cause. It’s the evil rash that keeps spreading and just won’t go away. Two years ago I got it on my ankles and it was awful. I’m very glad I didn’t touch it! 😅

      • The fuzzy things on the vine give it away. I have had poison ivy in my mouth, in my ears, on my hands, etc. Some of us can get poison ivy if we get in the smoke where they are burning that vine. Its awful – be careful.

        • Ooohhhhh. Haha, that’s good to know. (That tree is in our front yard… o_O I will keep my distance from now on, haha.)
Oh, my. 😱 That’s terrible! I can’t imagine it in my mouth or ears. At least on the hands or legs I can cover it in calamine lotion…
I’ve heard that about burning it; I’ll never burn it if I can help it. I’ll be careful! Thanks for the heads up! 🙂

  1. The trees are awesome, Grace! No wonder you felt so small. I’m 6’5″ tall and I’d feel very little standing next to one of these trees. Nature is so fantastic and so large…it does surround us all!

    • Hi! I found yours through Nikki’s Meet and Greet too. 🙂 (Your dad built a tiny house out of a bus?! How incredible!)

Thank you! 🙂 ♥ I see that you have a photography category (I haven’t explored it yet but I plan to!); do you take photos in nature too?

      • Hi!
Yes, my dad built a tiny house out of a bus. I wish that I were able to remember it better because I think that is just amazing!
I take quite a few photos of nature and that’s my preference for what I photograph. Most are shared on my instagram feed, but I do share quite a few on the blog. Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
