Enjoying Solitude

In response to the prompt, Solitude – you may have heard me mention that I enjoy walking in nature; that is probably my favorite way to enjoy the time by myself.

Here is an example of a someone I found who was enjoying his solitude until I came along during my solitude and stuck my camera lens in his face. It started when I found these mushrooms growing out of a tree stump and thought they were really neat:

And then I saw this:

I almost missed him! See him in the right center? A little frog was hiding in there. 😍 I zoomed in then and bye-bye solitude.

In this one, I peeled the bark back a bit to get a better shot and really infringed on his privacy… 😂

Consider this a warning to all wildlife: If you are enjoying solitude and I find you, I will invade your personal space. I will shoot you with my camera. And then I will share your mug shot with the world via my blog.

You have been warned… 😉

  2. Reminds me of how amazing creation is and how he camo’s right in there. I always wonder what the critters are thinking when we capture their pics and privacy. Maybe he is saying ” will you just hop along your merry way!” Really nice and adventurous! There is peace with God when we take time. In solitude to just ” be ” and then have the blessing of something which captures our attention! Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents!

    • I couldn’t agree more! 🙂 His creation leaves me in awe. That is such a cool thing to ponder. 😊 LOL, yes, “…and take the bright flashing light with you!” 😂
Yes! I can walk in His creation for hours and I most often find His peace there. 🙂 To just “be” – I like that; it reminds me of “be still and know that He is God.” 🙂 Yes! It is such a blessing when he brings something like this to our attention.
Thank you for the kind words! ♥ I enjoy sharing. 🙂
