It’s 40 degrees where I am (and due to get colder and possibly get snow!), and I know that other places are even colder than that and are already getting snow, or have had more snow than they can stand. Winter is definitely in full swing.
And because of that, some people this time of year are experiencing S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and the winter blues, so here is a bit of encouragement that even though the flowers and grass may freeze, the word of our Lord will stand forever, no matter the temperature, weather or season. ๐ I’m also linking to a post fromย Come In And Sit Down about how to beat those winter blues. Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:3)
Great message and scripture! I am diagnosed with depression and write about it now and then on my blog. Reach out to people if you notice a change in their behavior! Scripture perfect all year long! Thank you for sharing your walk of faith!

Thank you! โฅ Enjoy your day too, and you stay warm as well! ๐ Fortunately, it got above 40 degrees today, which is much better than it has been. I think that later this week it may actually get up to 70 degrees here, which is crazy.

Sounds like you live in California like I do! We have 15-20 degree swings a lot during the entire year really. But on the whole, we have an easier time with weather than most of the country in the fall/winter…

I actually don’t live in California; perhaps Arkansas is borrowing California’s weather pattern? XD It was so drastic this time. One night last week it was 12 degrees. And tonight it was 60. Craziness. ๐
It must be nice to have an easier time with the weather though. ๐ I’m used to it being cold this time of year, so this is a treat. ๐

My family is from Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas! My father decided many years ago that he was tired of the cold winters and the humid summers. He packed us all up and moved us out to California…
No doubt the weather is much milder, but it can get “California crazy” at times. One night it may be 47 degrees, then go down to 39 degrees. Then in the same week it will warm to 60! But at least there is no snow except up in the mountains…
We certainly have it much nicer than most of the country east of here!

Oh, how neat! ๐ That’s understandable. ๐
Wow! XD It must be kind of sad though to have no snow and no chance of a white Christmas; but at the same time, so mild!
Yeah, it does sound like it’s nice there! ๐

Well, it is generally a “green Christmas” around here, unless you want to celebrate in the mountains. But I’ll bet it’s very special to experience a bit of snow at Christmas time!

Haha, “green Christmas;” I like that. We haven’t had a white Christmas in a long time (I can’t remember the last time XD ) but I like to imagine it and listen to the song around Christmas. ๐

I love the song too! I’m so sorry…but I lost your answer to my question. Did you tell me your name was Grace?

LOL, I understand; we’ve left comments on so many different posts at this point, I don’t know where the answer is either. ๐ Yes, my name is Grace. ๐ I also added it recently to my About Me page. ๐

Thanks Grace! A beautiful name to be sure. I just like to keep things a bit more personal by using first names in my replies and comments…
