His Loving Sacrifice

Jesus Christ’s fate,
God giving the life of His Son,
More than compensated
The penalty for our transgressions

His loving sacrifice
Upon that cross
More than sufficed
Because Death lost

Its sting and its victory;
On day three when He rose,
And the tomb was empty;
My Savior defeated all His foes!
