The Random Facts…
- This is my second award. π
- I have 17 cats. (Hey, someone abandoned them, and they were homeless and hungry and I couldnβt let them starve. They are very awesome little creatures. 17 distinct personalities. I love them all to death. π )
- Growing up, I adored Nancy Drew. Books, old black and white movies, old TV series, and computer games. I still read // watch // play them sometimes for nostalgia’s sake, even though I’m an adult. (Along with other children’s books and young adult books. I’m a kid at heart. XD )
- My dream is to be a published author someday. I am participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this November, and I hope to write the sequel to the Christian Dystopian Young Adult novel I wrote a first draft for last November, and maybe someday I’ll have finished the trilogy.
- I like to make stuff; especially the artsy and crafty type of things. For example, I made myself a charm bracelet last month:
I wonder why I chose Psalms Twenty Three? **glances at title of blog** XD
- My birthday is the day before Halloween. For too long, I let that define me.
- I think my favorite song presently is, “How Can I Keep From Singing?” by Audrey Assad. Or “Holy, Holy, Holy.” That was fantastic too. Or maybe, “Be Thou My Vision.” Or it could be, “It Is Well with My Soul.” Or perhaps, “New Every Morning” or, “Even Unto Death”? Haha, I can’t decide. She is so talented. A friend of mine gave me her “Inheritance” album, and I can’t stop listening to it – and singing along with it. She is absolutely amazing. Seriously, if you have a moment to sample her music, click the link, you won’t be disappointed. π
The Ten Blogs I’m Nominating, in no particular order:
No pressure to accept the award; but if you do decide to, have fun, and I look forward to reading your post! π
Oh, thank you s much for nominating me. It is so much fun. This is my second nomination also. I will be honored to accept it. I have to work on it tomorrow to respond to the question. Again, you are a great supporter of me. I’m glad I found out from Martha’s blog. Yes, I will accept it. Thank you. (Would you tell me your name?)

Last year when I came across Suzies I had no idea what it was either. But it actually ended up being a lot of fun! I discovered a lot of new blogs and was able to get alot of new followers and people reading my blog. The social aspect of connecting with other bloggers is the best part π I am hoping that we can get enough interest to make it successful! “see” you Saturday!

I enjoyed reading this! Some of the songs you listed in #7 are personal favs of mine although I haven’t listened to them from that particular artist. Thank again for the nomination, it really means a lot.

Fernado Ortega.:) His voice is lovely. He has whole albums of hymns. I really like his version of Give me Jesus.
Thank you, brainstorming about what to write right now. Haha.

It’s nice to meet a fellow Nancy Drew fan who is close to my age! π (I’m in my mid-twenties.) They make me nostalgic and happy too. β₯ If I may ask, which ones are your favorites? There are so many series and books out there. π
I was happy to nominate you! And thank you so much! β₯

I love all the series π especially those old paperback ones, the ones which include mystery of the fire dragon and the secret of the old clock!β€

Me too, and those two are two of my favorites as well. π I especially love the oldest ones – the blue hardbacks that have 25 chapters that came out in the 1930’s – but those are hard to come by. π

Oh. My. Goodness. Thank you so much for the link! π There are so many of these that I have wanted to read, but haven’t been able to get my hands on; and they are on this list! π π π Werewolf in a Winter Wonderland sounds like it would be the perfect read for December…
One thing I noticed though: “The Nancy Drew Girl Detective series is the newest version of tales about the titian-haired sleuth.” That series ended a few years ago; the newest series now is the Nancy Drew Diaries. I’ve read the first one, Curse of the Arctic Star, and it was really good. π
…it looks like the website is having some technical difficulties today. *sigh** Haha, I guess I’ll have to wait until they fix it before I can check the books out. XD

Oh, that’s great, I’m so glad you did! π I know that pneumonia is especially bad when dealing with it on top of what he is already going through. He talked about it a bit here: https://psalmistpetegardner.com/2017/02/02/turning-trials-to-blessings/ May God bring him healing! π
