I love this verse. I used to sing solo of a song based on this verse. Thank you for your reminder.

It’s one of my favorite verses too. π If I may ask, what was the song that was based on this verse that you used to sing?

It’s one of the songs I sang for solo. So it’s not in the hymnals. I don’t know if I could find it now. I’ll look it up and let you know when I find it.

Oh, I see. π Thanks for looking! I hope you find it.

Sorry I referred to a different song. The Lord is My Light – music by Frances Allitsen. I don’t know if you can find it in Christian music websites.

I found the song – the accompaniment is quite elaborated. Are you looking for a solo piece of music?

I did it. Here it comes:
The Lord s My Light
Words from Psalm 27:1- ? Music by Frances Allitsen
—————–
The Lord is my light and my salvation,
Whom, then, shall I fear?
Whom, then, shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life,
The Lord is the strength of my life.
Of whom then shall I be afraid?
Though a host of men were laid against me,
Yet shall not my heart be afraid;
And though there rose up war against me,
Yet will I put my trust in Him.
For, in the time of trouble,
He shall hide me in His tabernacle,
Yea, in the secret places of His dwelling,
Shall He hide me,
And set me up, upon a rock of stone.
The Lord is my light and my salvation.
Whom, then, shall I fear?
Whom, the, shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life.
The Lord is the strength of my life.
Of whom, then, shall I be afraid?
Of whom, then, shall I be afraid?
